Privacy policy

Our principle

We only ask for the information needed to create a useful profile.

The safest personal information is information we never ask you to provide.

What we ask for

An email address, so we can give you access to what you bought, and the information you choose to enter about your child.

We do not ask for your child's full name or surname, their school, an address, a date of birth, a student number or a medical record number. We recommend using initials or a nickname instead of a name. Age and school year / grade are optional.

We never ask for a diagnosis. If you choose to mention one in a free-text answer, that is your decision and it stays in your profile.

How child information is treated

Everything you write about your child is treated as sensitive personal data.

Profiles are private to your account. They are never public, never shared with third parties, and never listed or indexed.

Generated documents are never exposed through publicly guessable links.

Because initials, nicknames and free-text detail can still identify someone in context, we do not describe profiles as anonymous. We describe them as containing minimal personal information, and we ask you to avoid unnecessary identifying details in free-text answers.

Analytics and advertising

Any product analytics we use are limited to non-content events such as a page being viewed, a checkout being started, a purchase completing or a document being generated.

Profile content — initials, nickname, age, school year, free-text answers and generated profile text — is not attached to those events and is not sent to advertising platforms, heatmaps or session-recording tools.

Your control

You can edit a profile, export it, delete a profile, or delete your account and everything in it.

Deleting your account removes your saved answers and generated documents.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs for up to 90 days, to keep the service running and secure. We do not use them for anything else.

Deleting

Write to contact@linkiddo.com and we will delete your email address and your purchase record. It disappears from the live service straight away, and from backups within 90 days. Your card is not ours to delete: it is the file on your own device, and you can delete it yourself.

Who else is involved

The site is built and hosted on Lovable, which stores our records with Supabase. Payments are handled by Stripe. Those companies process this information on our behalf, under their own terms, and none of them receives anything about your child — because nothing about your child ever leaves your device.

Current implementation status

In this build, answers are stored in your own browser only, so nothing about your child leaves your device. Once accounts and hosted storage are connected, the same rules apply, enforced per user at the database level.
