Re-open your card file, update it, and generate a new version. One payment covers that child for good.

Is my child's information stored anywhere?

The real copy is the downloaded card file itself — PDF with your profile embedded inside it. The browser copy is only a convenience, and it can be cleared by the browser. Keep the downloaded card: that's what keeps your profile.

What exactly do I get?

One page — the card — written as if this happens, try this, ready to print on US Letter or send as a PDF. Alongside it: a three-to-four-page full profile, a version for each person who has your child, a copy written for the child, a before-the-first-day checklist, and a page of what you've already tried.

Is this a long report?

No. The card fits on one page, 8.5 × 11, and takes about fifteen seconds to read. The full profile exists for the one adult who'll spend the year with your child.

Who is the card for?

Anyone who has your child when you don't — a teacher, a sub, a coach, a therapist, an aide, a camp counselor, a sitter, a grandparent.

Do I need to enter my child's personal information?

No. A first name or a nickname is enough. There's no field for a last name, a birthday, a school or a diagnosis. Age and grade are optional.

Why don't you ask for my child's school?

Because we don't need it. What helps your child is the same on Tuesday at school and Saturday at practice.

What information should I avoid entering?

Last names, school names, addresses, medical record numbers, student numbers. None of it makes the card more useful.

Is this a diagnostic or medical tool?

No. It doesn't assess, diagnose or treat anything. It writes down what you already know in a form another adult can use.
